Tension Envelope Shaoxing Corporation specializes in producing all kinds of envelopes, such as international standard envelopes, bill envelopes, DM advertising envelopes, business envelopes, kraft paper envelopes, red envelopes, CD/DVD paper envelope, lens envelope, photo envelope and all kinds of paper envelopes with special technology. In order to cater to consumers' environmental protection mentality, enter the international high-end market, and establish a green image of the company, we have passed the FSC forest environmental protection certification in 2011, and bring traceable paper environmental protection products to users. In recent years, in order to meet the needs of customers, the company began to expand diversified packaging business, in office supplies, express supplies, gift packaging and other aspects of rapid development, strive to provide customers with more diversified one-stop packaging services.
Tension Shaoxing's envelope collection creative, development, production, sales in one, product sales cover nearly 30 provinces and municipalities, autonomous regions, and sales to Europe, The United States, The Middle East and other countries and regions. Up to now, the company has more than 100 employees, with 9 advanced imported full-automatic envelope production equipment lines and 3 domestic production equipment lines, with an average monthly production capacity of 60-80 million pieces. Walter Berkowitz, son of William Berkowitz, discovers a new, high-speed envelope-folding machine. Berkley Machinery Company was later established and Tension becomes the sole supplier of W&D machinery in the United States. The machine’s introduction revolutionizes the American envelope industry.
Building on the popularity of the Tension Tie envelope, the Company consolidates all manufacturing and sales divisions and officially becomes Tension Envelope Corporation.

In March of 2019, Tension Corporation and Motion Envelope, Inc. announced that they had entered into an agreement under which Tension would acquire Motion Envelope. The two companies had worked together for several years prior to the acquisition, making Motion Envelope a natural fit. Acquiring Motion Envelope opened up several new opportunities for specialty products for Tension customers.
In October of 2021, Tension Packaging & Automation announced the acquisition of Colorado Automation & Design (CAD) to help meet growing demand to their core markets of eCommerce and pharmacy automation.
In March of 2022, Tension announced the acquisition of the print division assets of Intellus Direct. This acquisition expands Tension’s presence in the high-end direct mail and print marketing space while consolidating its supply chain by vertically integrating the print and envelope converting operations that support Tension’s direct mail and print marketing offerings.
